Car Rental Uganda — Car Rental Policy

Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings should come from official channels: website, emails, phone or in person.
  • A booking is confirmed upon payment of at least 40% or full amount.
  • For long distances or cross-boarder car rental, clients are encouraged to book at least 2 days before the trip.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Less than one week or failure to show upNon-refundable.
  • More than 48 hoursFull refund without processing fees.
  • 24-48 hours before the trip50% refund.
  • Cancellation doesn’t apply to gorilla or chimpanzee permit money.
  • Customer is liable for any surcharge incurred during the cancellation process.
  • Cancellation must be in writing to our official email address.

Car Rental Rates, Inclusions & Exclusions

Vehicles are charged per day or per trip and include;

  • Drivers accommodation and meals if over night (for car rental with a driver)
  • Road side assistance
  • Comprehensive insurance and government taxes

Excludes

  • Clients meals, accommodation and other expenses.
  • Entry fees to attractions or parks.
  • Boarder crossings fees (if applicable).
  • Tolls, felly’s and parking charges.

For Car Rental with a driver

  • Drivers are licensed and experienced in customer care.
  • For safety purposes, drivers are permitted to drive for a maximum of 10 hours only with adequate rest.
  • Drivers are permitted to operate the cars only and clients are not permitted to operate the car.

Vehicle use and restrictions

  • For safety or mechanical issues, the company reserves the right to change the car.
  • Smoking, carrying weapons, illigal goods and animals with out prior approval is prohibited.
  • Off road driving is prohibited unless specified and agreed upon prior.
  • Vehicles shall only be used for the purpose agreed upon before (for example tourism, business or airport transfer).

Cross–boarder Rental

Cross boarder rental to East African Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and others is available by prior arrangement only. Additional charges for cross-boarder may include; boarder clearance permits like COMESA, insurance, road permits, drivers accommodation and per diem.

Delays & Forced Majeure

The company is not liable for any delays cause by whether, road conditions, boarder conditions or factors beyond our control. In case of vehicle failure, a replacement vehicle will be dispatched as soon as possible.

Clients Responsibilities

  • Notify the company in case of any issues immediately.
  • Clients are advised to carry their necessary identifications at all times.
  • Comply with the local laws, customs and traffic regulations.
  • Avoid asking the driver to engage in illegal activities.

Payment Terms

Our acceptable payment methods include; cash, mobile money, bank transfers and credit card (where applicable)

Full payment must be paid before start of the trip

Dispute Resolution

Conflicts between the client and company will be handled amicably and failure to this, local authorities or arbitrators will be involved
